Barbell Business – How to Make Your Gym’s Core Values Mean Something

This week on BARBELL BUSINESS, we discuss:

  • The importance of defining your gym’s core values and how they can benefit almost ever aspect of your growth
  • Pitfalls that come with poorly defined values – they run deeper than you might think
  • Examples of core values that have inspired us
  • A deep dive into Barbell Shrugged’s core values and how we live them daily

In the entrepreneur space, we constantly hear people touting the importance of core values, mission statements, and culture and we have integrated them in the business language among many other terms. But what are company core values REALLY? Why are they so important? In this show, we are going to discuss all that and how you can use them to better your future business decision making.

This is a really important show for us as it’s the first time we’re publically announcing the Barbell Shrugged core values which we’ve been working on for what seems like forever. We hope this show inspires you to take the next step to really giving a crap about what your business stands for because if you don’t know what you stand for, no one will.

Enjoy the show!

  • Love your shows and everything that you give away especially all you have experienced and all your knowledge.
What about a show on when to take the leap as a company? What I mean by that is we are struggling with signing another lease for multiple years vs. building out vs. moving to another location, which means a lot of money and leap of faith.

    Thanks, Brant
