Dia De Los Muertos – A Barbell Shrugged Special

Audio Only; iTunes/Stitcher

This show comes in two parts. At first, we talk about the 7 questions that will help you train better and get stronger, starting right now.

The second part of the show is personal. Today is dia de los muertos, or the day of the dead. I thought I would take some time and remember what’s been lost. Also, it’s a good time to appreciate what you still have.

I hope you enjoy the show,

Chris Moore is a writer, recovering meathead, fledgling raconteur and rabid imbiber. He's also cohost and resident potty mouth on Barbell Shrugged, a weekly podcast devoted to Crossfit, strength, fitness and all things brash. His experience is drawn from over twenty-years spent training for and competing in American Football, Powerlifting, a bit of strongman and a dash of mixed martial arts. Also, it's possible that he's had one too many cups of coffee. A caffeine fever is a hell of a thing, you know?

  • I really enjoyed listening to this podcast. Right now I’m in college dealing with a lot of responsibilities such as school, work, training and studying. You know what it’s like you were there once. Hearing someone else’s voice talk about similar experiences helps get through some of the tougher situations were I need to set my priorities straight. As much as I want to do everything well and make some money and get strong and good grades it’s really hard to do that. There is a common goal all you guys have from Barbell Shrugged. Be happy with what your doing and have a purpose. I feel like I’m on my track to find that place. But anyway I like listening to all you guys talk and this was eye opening to appreciate the little things because sometimes time goes by way to fast.
