Is the “Dad Bod” in our out? 

That’s right, we actually got asked this question. Apparently, it’s quite a popular topic.

According to Urban Dictionary, the Dad bod describes a physique that “was once in shape and still has guns that can crush beer cans, but also with a belly that says I drank those beers and I can eat 6 slices of pizza in one seating.”

I hate to admit it, but I think this describes my look exactly.

Here’s our best advice.

If you’re training hard and eating well, but still carrying some stubborn body fat, then don’t worry about it. You’re fit, and probably getting leaner every day. Your body will keep changing and adapting. So, give it time.

You should also be comforted by the fact that having a 6-pack doesn’t seem nearly as sexy as it used to be, at least not on dudes. If you have a pot belly, smile and embrace it! You’re living in fortunate times.

If there’s any lesson to this absurd #Dadbod craze, it’s that girls really do love a man with confidence. Chunky or slim, it doesn’t really matter nearly as much as you would think. Plus, they really do enjoy looking petite and cute standing next to you in public. I don’t know much about women, but I know that’s true.

Now, go out and show off those sexy man curves! 🙂
