The popularity of WEIGHTLIFTING is currently exploding. Every day new athletes are flooding into gyms all around the world to learn the lifts. If you coach or own a gym, the opportunities are endless. This week on Barbell Business, we’ll help you to get started.
The first step is always to expand your knowledge. Spend all the time you can studying and coaching the lifts. Better still, invest in great coaches who can teach you something new and improve your team.
That’s the key – Continuing education, daily refinement and investment in great people will form the foundation of everything you do, both in the gym and in business.
Create a great environment for weightlifting and your clients will love it. The community will also grow strong and prosper, which is great for business. Outside of normal training, try offering an introductory weightlifting course for new athletes. It’s easy and doesn’t require much equipment.
All you need is the knowledge and experience base that you’re continuously cultivating.
With time you can try your hand at hosting competitions, seminars and maybe even certifications – All are excellent options for creating exposure for your gym, and also bonus income. What’s more, if you capture that content and put it online, you can easily scale your services to a global audience.
In that sense, weightlifting can take you from your gym to anyplace in the world. It can allow you to teach anyone, anywhere, at anytime. All you have to do is start investing, right now.
